About Us
We love adventure, anywhere we can find it! We are a family of eight exploring the world in search of faith, friends and adventure. We sold our home, bought tandem bicycles and set out. Although we had a defined starting point (Reno, Nevada USA) we do not have a specific destination. Our list of places to explore is longer than the human lifespan, so we plan one week at a time. We “bikeschool” our six children while living full-time on a self-supported bike tour. Wherever we set up camp is home for us each day. And as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, everywhere we go we have a community that feels like family.
Shane and Colleen have been married for 20 years and spent their honeymoon living in a tent in Alaska guiding sea kayak tours. We have four sons (17, 12, 8 & 6 years old) and two daughters (15 & 13 years old).
